USF Longskate is a french association based in Normandy, Forges-les-eaux a town with natural springs close to Rouen (76). The main goal of the association is to promote longskate discipline in a safe and secured context. 2007 has been the year to organize, together with National Comity of Downhill (CND) and French Federation of Roller Skating (FFRS), the first leg of the French Downhill Championship 2007 (28th and 29th of April) between Darnétal and Roncherolles-Sur-Le-Vivier. Overall, this event was a success and big smiles may be seen on faces of each participant, public or the staff that came from Belgium, Swizerland, Germany, Sweden, Canada and of course France.
RidersEnBray (REB) is the name of our team composed of around 30 riders and many members. Most of our members participated in the french championnship, some the european and world championships. We are particularly proud of having the 2006 Downhill French Champion in our team, Jean-Baptiste Debure aka "JiBo".

Longskate
Longskating is not praticed in skateparks but on roads over distances of many kilometers
The racers first ride the track to get a reference time (qualification phase) which will then be used to decide on the position of the boarders. The best 32 racers will be allowed to compete. The competitors race in 4's but only the first 2 to cross the finish line will qualify for the next round until the final.
Streetluge
Streetluge has evolved from buttboard, and is also practiced lying on the board, but with a more evoluted board. The traditionnal wooden board is replaced with an aluminium frame and sometimes feet holders. The gravity center is lowered and the minimal wind resistance give strong stability, allowing speeds greater than the other downhill sports.

Buttboard
Buttboard is practiced by lying on a board made of wood. The speeds reached are greater than in longskate, due to an aerodynamique coefficent much smaller because of the racers's position on its board.
During qualification phases, the racers have two timed runs to determine their place on the starting grid. During finals, they launch all at once, just like in formula 1 races. This kind of race is truly impressive and ensures great entertainment!
Roller de descente
This sport is practiced downhill too and has greater public interest. Five or even six wheels are used to gain more speed and stability. The riders use the same protection as for longskate, as the usual protection (knees, elbows and waists) is no longer sufficient
The racers ride the track one by one, and each run is timed. They are then classe from obtained times.
Skullboard
This sport is much less known in the public but is nevertheless easily accessed and secure. The body is positioned by lying on your front, face forward! The skullboards are flexible and equipped with a caoutchouc shoe in the center on the side facing the road. Then just by cambering the skullboarder can slow down. This sport eguarntees a great experience. The skullboarders are equipped with leathersuits, helmets and gloves.
